Stop being interesting.
On my subway ride to work this morning, I was editing a podcast episode and was reminded of a quote.
“Stop being interesting. Start being interested.”
There’s a certain level of ego that’s fulfilled when someone thinks your interesting. It feels good.
But the internal confidence and personal growth that is cultivated when you’re interested makes being interesting trivial and easier to achieve.
So, what came first, the chicken or the egg? The interesting or the interested?
What makes you interested?
