Joe Cross is an Australian entrepreneur, author, filmmaker, and wellness advocate.
He’s the world’s OG juicer.
He’s the man behind and starring in the award-winning documentary film “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead,” which has been seen by more than 30 million people worldwide and is largely responsible for introducing them to drink (and eat) something green. Through books, films, in-person meet-ups and online programs, Joe continues to inspire and motivate a global community of people.
A total well-lebrity – a celebrity in the wellness world – I’d seen his films on netflix and his face came plastered on the side of my juicer.
But Joe, I’ve learned is so much more than juice.
Joe is a story-teller. He’s an inspiration. And after just one conversation he’ll feel like your best friend.
He is also one of the most kind, caring, compassionate, and generous people you’ll ever meet. He says what he means and means what he says and with that thick Aussie accent it always comes from his heart.
Joe has this amazing quality to make everybody feel like a somebody. I think this is how he’s changed so many people’s lives.
We sat down and chatted a few weeks ago when he was in NYC. Of course, we talk about Joe’s personal story, films, juicing, and food, BUT we go so much deeper talking about motivation, perspective and inspiration.
You’ll hear:
- How shifting your perspective can change your life
- Why NOT positioning himself an expert actually helps Joe change people’s lives
- Using community to support your goals
- How he persevered and made change even when it got tough and how you can too
- How to manage and juggle the 5 pillars of good health
- What a machete and initiative have in common
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast! Joe is such great guy and an inspiration.
Right!? He’s the best! Thanks for listening <3
